A Covid Diary

Step into the quiet streets and empty spaces of Los Angeles during the pandemic lockdown through this poignant documentary photo project. As a professional photographer based in LA, I found myself facing an uncertain future when the lockdown began and my film contract was postponed indefinitely. This project captures the profound sense of emptiness that permeated the city during this unprecedented time. Each image is a testament to the resilience of LA and its people, standing strong in the face of adversity. Explore this gallery and experience the lockdown through my lens.

The quietude of one of the busiest thoroughfares in LA was already eerie enough, but I was immediately struck by the feeling this old-school barbershop gave with its lights still on, and the empty chairs silently waiting like they had to be abandoned suddenly.
